ESTABLISHED IN 1988

A T.E.E.M. Electrical Engineering was established in 1988, and is a corporation registered in the State of California (Federal Employee ID #68-0253031). ATEEM is listed with California Department of General Services (DGS) as a Micro-Business (#595) and has been certified by Supplier Clearinghouse as a WMBE (VON: 11080120). The ATEEM office is centrally located in Sacramento, CA.  Since the company was founded, ATEEM has specialized in planning, design and implementation of water and wastewater electrical power distribution, instrumentation and SCADA control system projects. A T.E.E.M. has a long history of service client relationships in repeating our high level of service.

Sharon Kimizuka, P.E.

A T.E.E.M's President is a State of California registered Professional Engineer. Sharon has specialized experience in wastewater, water and drainage system engineering projects.  Almost all of the designs are for the upgrades of working water or wastewater facilities.  She excels at designing around working systems. She has developed numerous SCADA graphic systems for sites ranging from small pump stations to major water & wastewater treatment plants.  This experience has given Ms. Kimizuka an understanding of system operations and the type of information and graphics that operators need in order to make their SCADA system useful.  Ms. Kimizuka has been responsible for designs of over eleven water treatment plants, fifteen wastewater treatment plant and numerous lift station, wells, tanks & booster pump station projects and has been brought in to provide plan check on a number pump station designs by others.

Erik Burns, P.E.

A T.E.E.M's Controls Engineer is a State of California Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience designing and programming automated systems for food, drug, beverage, manufacturing, and municipal water and wastewater. He has designed and installed many lift station control upgrades with zero downtime.  Erik has worked as project engineer and manager for a control system house. He is experienced in Allen-Bradley, GE, Modicon, Bristol –Babcock, ICL, SCADAPack, Siemens & PLC Direct PLC software and hardware engineering as well as a start-up field engineer.  Erik has extensive experience with Wonderware, Intellution, Ignition, FactoryTalkView, PanelView, PanelMate, Magelis, C-More and EZ-Touch. In recent years he has installed three separate Archestra based Wonderware projects for water and wastewater facilities.

Erik has become the primary PLC / SCADA programmer for multiple agencies by resolving issues that have stymied other System Integrator PLC programmers and radio technicians. This experience has proven invaluable during installation of SCADA/radio systems. He has also become a resource to other water agencies’ in-house PLC/SCADA programmers.
